⁂ Very scarce work portraying the flora of Greenland.

This work consists of new impressions of the original copperplates of the 'Flora Danica', which depicted plants from Denmark, Norway, North Germany, Greenland, part of Sweden and was published over 122 years from 1761 to 1874. This copy is missing plates 140, 147, and 236, but includes the additional plates 26a, 139a, and 191a, bringing the total of plates to the same number mentioned in the index. Lange (1818-98) was editor of 'Flora Danica' from 1861 to 1874.
