Botany.- Acharius (Erik) Lichenographia Universalis, 14 hand-coloured engraved plates, browning and foxing to text, contemporary calf-backed boards, red morocco label to spine, spine a little rubbed and faded, [Nissen BBI 1; Stafleu & Cowan 11], 4to, Gottingen, 1810.
⁂ Erik Acharius (1757-1819) was a prominent pupil of Linnaeus. His large collection of lichens and other cryptograms is stored in the Botanical Museum of the University of Helsinki.
