Herbal.- Dodoens (Rembert) Cruydt-Boeck... volgens sijne laetste verberteringe, second edition, engraved pictorial title, 1,470 woodcuts in text, a few rust holes affecting a few words, the odd paper flaw or short marginal tear, original vellum over wooden boards, with metal clasps, morocco label to spine, splitting to joints at spine ends, [Nissen BBI 518; Stafleu & Cowan 1491], folio, Leyden, Plantijnsche Druckerije van Françoys van Ravelingen, 1618.
⁂ A splendid copy in its original binding. Second and enlarged edition of this monumental Dutch herbal, not to be confused with Rumpf's 'Cruydeboeck' which was based on Fuch's herbal.
