Narrative of the Surveying Voyages of His Majesty's Ships Adventure and Beagle, 3 vol. in 4, including Appendix to vol.2, first edition, 48 engraved plates and charts, 8 engraved folding maps and charts (all linen-backed), 3 half-titles only (lacking that for vol.2), without 24pp. advertisements at end of vol.3, very occasional light surface staining or scattered spotting, faint ink inscription to all titles but vol.1, generally clean, Fitz Roy Keith Chapman armorial bookplates, some hinges cracked, contemporary calf by Zaehnsdorf, gilt, morocco labels to spines, [Freeman 10; Norman 584; Sabin 37826], 8vo, 1839.
