Miró (Juan), Wassily Kandinsky, John Buckland-Wright, Stanley William Hayter, Josef Hecht, Dalla Husband, Roderick Mead, Dolf Rieser and Luis Vargas. - Spender (Stephen) Fraternity, with French translation by Louis Aragon, number 25 of 101 copies with 9 engravings on Montval hand-made paper, one by each artist, signed by them below in pencil, signed by Spender and Aragon below their contributions, loose as issued, original portfolio, lightly sunned spine, original slipcase, engraved title to upper cover, lightly sunned, slight rubbing to corners and extremities, 8vo, [Paris], Atelier 17 and Henri Hecht, March 1939.
*** This work was created in support of the Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War and was published to mark the fall of Madrid on 29th March 1939.
