Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1788) Veduta del Tempio detto della Concordia, from 'Vedute di Roma', etching, an excellent well inked impression of Hind's first state (of three), on thick laid paper with watermark of fleur-de-lis within concentric circles [Hind's no. 3], platemark 472 x 700 mm (18 3/4 x 27 3/4 in), sheet 517 x 750 mm (20 1/4 x 29 1/2 in), minor spotting, faint horizontal drying crease, some old adhesive visible in the left margin, unframed, 1774
