Blanchetière (Henri, binder).- Richepin (Jean) Les Débuts de César Borgia, edited by Octave Uzanne, number 162 of 186 copies for members of the society, etched portrait printed in sepia, etched illustrations by George Rochegrosse printed in colours and some finished by hand and highlighted in gold, bound in dark blue morocco with mosaic border in colours, by Henri Blanchetière, covers with single gilt fillet and wide decorative foliate border inlaid in yellow, orange, pink, green and lilac morocco, spine titled in gilt with compartments of orange and green ornamental inlays within gilt rule frame and five raised bands, turn-ins with single gilt fillet between inlaid narrow strips of tan morocco and orange ornaments to corners, patterned floral silk doublures and endpapers, marbled flyleaves, original decorative wrappers printed in gilt bound in, g.e., signed at foot of front turn-in, preserved in board slip-case (a little rubbed), tall 8vo (binding c.270 x 165mm.), Paris, pour La Société des Bibliophiles Contemporains, 1890.

⁂ Henri Blanchetière (1881-1933), was a follower of Marius-Michel, at first using Art Nouveau floral designs but later developing a more modern geometrical style.
