Doyle (Sir Arthur Conan) The Hound of Baskervilles, first edition, first issue with "you" for "your" on p.13 line 3, 15 plates by Sidney Paget only (of 16, lacking frontispiece), a few loose or becoming so, very occasional light foxing or finger marks, endpapers lightly browned, ink ownership to front free endpaper, bookseller's sticker to rear pastedown, some cracking to gutter at title but firm, original red pictorial cloth, stamped in gilt and black, spine lightly faded, few ink spots to spine touching title, spine ends and corners a little bumped, a few small stains and dents to lower cover, but a sharp, excellent example overall, [Green & Gibson A26; Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone], 8vo, 1902.
