Dodd, 1714; Part of the Seventh Epistle of the First Book of Horace Imitated: and Address'd to a Noble Peer, second edition, title and final f. browned, small water-stain to final f. upper-margin, foxing, for A. Dodd, 1713 § [?Swift (Jonathan) and Robert Harley] The Reasons Which induc'd Her Majesty To Create the Right Honourable Robert Harley, Esq; a Peer of Great-Britain, 8pp., pp.3-5 in Latin, pp.6-8 in English, lower blank corners slightly frayed, some spotting, browning to margins, stitched, disbound, for J. Morphew, 1711, all but the last in modern dark red morocco-backed cloth, [Teerink 594 & 589 & 849], small 4to (3)

⁂ Of the first mentioned, the second issue has the same title and collation as the first, but is dated 1714 rather than 1713. This copy is without the catchword "Thou" on p.3. The third mentioned is variously attributed to Harley himself and to Dr. Robert Freind, and said to have been revised by Swift. In this issue the first line of p.7 is "consist with liberty. This double task".
