Autograph Letter signed to Mrs. Tolhurst, 2pp., sm. 8vo, Guildford, The Chestnuts, 17th January 1878, "If you have the theatricals again, & if I am able to come, & if there is room enough (three doubtful hypotheses) I should much like to bring my young friend here, Evelyn Dubourg (now 16, but I have known her since she was 10), & her brother Augustus. I have told Evelyn I am giving you a 'hint' to invite her, & she hopes I shall make it strong enough to run no risk of not being understood! Love to Beatrice & Gertrude", folds.
