Heraldry.- Bossewell (John) Workes of Armorie devided into three bookes, entitled the concordes of Armorie, the Armorie of Honor, and of cotes and creastes, black letter, title with woodcut printer's device, numerous woodcut arms, woodcut historiated and decorative initials, many with early hand-colouring, title a little soiled and with early ink ownership inscription, C8 with small portion of marginal loss, occasional light marginal damp-staining, bookplate of John Moore Pager to front pastedown along with booklet supplying index in a 19th century hand initialed "J.M.P." laid onto rear pastedown, later bookplate to front free endpaper, upper joint cracked but firm, modern speckled half calf over 19th century boards, rubbed, [STC 3394], small 4to, printed by Henrie Ballard, dwelling without Temple-barre, 1597.
