India.- Kalighat School (probably 19th century) Five paintings of Hindu deities, including two of Kali Dancing on Shiva, two of Durga as Rajarajesvari, with one above a prostrate Shiva, and another, water-based pigments and opaque-based pigments on 19th century wove paper, each approx. 305 x 250 mm (12 x 9 3/4 in), all with partial 19th century lithograph verso, presumably a cancelled print run re-used, some surface dirt, minor spotting, handling creases and slightly rough edges, all unframed, [probably 19th century] (5)
