Sandford (Francis) The History of the Coronation of the Most High, Most Mighty, and Most Excellent Monarch, James II...and His Royal Consort Queen Mary, first edition, initial imprimatur f. signed 'Norfolk & Marshall', title in red and black with engraved coat-of-arms (printer's name in red), 30 engraved plates by William Sherwin & others, of which 6 of procession bound together to make 3 folding, all but one of the others double-page, engraved illustrations, head-pieces & historiated initials, title with tear to lower-margin, fireworks plate slightly frayed at lower-margin, the odd other marginal tear or tear along fold of plate, a few times into image but no loss, occasional light browning or spotting, some light soiling, contemporary panelled calf, old reback, corners and spine ends worn, rubbed and scratched, joints splitting but holding firm, endpapers renewed, [Wing S652A], folio, Thomas Newcomb, 1687.
