King (Jessie M.).- Evans (Sebastian) The High History of the Holy Graal, one of 225 large paper copies, frontispiece, additional pictorial title and 22 plates in red and black on india paper by Jessie M. King, tissue-guards, occasional foxing, bookplate to endpaper, original pictorial parchment boards, decorated in black and gilt, light surface soiling, some rubbing to upper cover but an excellent copy generally, t.e.g., others uncut, 4to, 1903.
⁂ Jessie M. King's masterpiece and one of the great art nouveau books. Rare in such bright condition and this copy seemingly a variant with the front cover and spine decorated in black rather than blue.
