Čapek (Karel) [The Noetic trilogy], translated by M. and R. Weatherall, 3 vol., first English editions, comprising Hordubal, jacket with 2 short nicks to head of upper panel with light creasing, 1934; Meteor, signed presentation inscription from the author to Václav Palivec on half-title, bookplate of Palivec to front pastedown, slight fading to spine, jacket with chip to head of spine and foot of upper panel touching 2 letters, a few shot nicks and tears to head and foot with creasing, rubbing to extremities, 1935; An Ordinary Life, very light browning to endpapers, light sunning to spine, jacket with slight toning to spine, 1936, some light scattered foxing, original cloth, some edge-spotting, dust-jackets, spine ends and corners a little chipped, spotting and some light surface soiling, generally excellent examples, 8vo.
