Wilde (Oscar).- Theatre Royal, Haymarket. An Ideal Husband, bifolium programme, printed in brown on light cream paper, some light staining / soiling, creased, 163 x 185mm., G. Harmsworth & Co., Hart Street, Covent Garden, 1895.
⁂ Scarce programme for the first production of Wilde's An Ideal Husband. Wilde was arrested for gross indecency during this production and the actors called to testify against him. The production continued, but Wilde's name was dropped from the programme.
