Garrick (David).- Catalogue (A) of the Library, Splendid Books of Prints, Poetical and Historical Tracts, of David Garrick...Which will be Sold by Auction, by Mr. Saunders...On Wednesday, April 23d, 1823, and 9 following days, one pencil annotation ("Sold for £50"), [1823], various Garrick related ephemera laid down, bound or tipped in, including: 1p. manuscript document with elaborate presentation inscription "The Incorporated Actors Belonging to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane humbly beg leave to present their perpetual President David Garrick Esqr. with this medal...", dated March 25 1777, pencil outline ?of the medal to conjugate blank; plates of Stratford-Upon-Avon Church, Shakespeare's monument, his birth place and his grave; 8pp. "Catalogue of a Miscellaneous Assemblage of Valuable Property of Mrs. Garrick, Decd...Which Will be Sold at Auction, by Messrs. Robins...on Thursday, the 22nd day of May, 1823", title reinforced at inner-margin, occasional light browning or soiling, first few ff. and upper wrapper loose, contemporary pink paper wrappers, A.L.s. from Eva Marie Garrick stitched to upper wrapper, 1p. with conjugate blank and address panel, Adelphi, November 16th, "I go out of town for a few days, at my return will want upon you, and your dear brother and bring a book which he lent me some time ago", note above address panel in another hand "Lord Monboddo's antient metaphysics vol:2 1782.
