Warwickshire.- Dugdale (Sir William) The Antiquities of Warwickshire, first edition, engraved portrait frontispiece mounted on stub, 11 folding engraved maps, plans and plates, 5 engraved plates on 4 sheets, all by Hollar & others, numerous full-page illustrations as well as vignettes throughout, with errata f., lacking final blank, Sig. 2G bound in wrong order, 2R4 misbound before 2R1, 2Y2&3 bound in wrong order, title with very slight chipping to fore-edge, 4X3 small rust-hole affecting couple letters, a few short tears to folds of plates or into text but no loss (see 2B1, 2U3, 3E3), light water-stain to foot of frontispiece and title and occasionally elsewhere, the odd spot or light browning, front free endpaper detached, ex-Incorporated Law Society with gift inscription to front free endpaper and small ink-stamp to frontispiece verso, title, and few other ff., 19th century morocco, rebacked preserving original backstrip, covers with central gilt arms and gilt-tooled decorative borders, covers rubbed and worn in places, g.e., [Wing D2479], folio, Thomas Warren, 1656.
