Moulin (Peter du) Of Peace and Contentment of Minde, first edition, title within typographic border (lower corner defective and becoming loose at inner margin), outer edge of text block A7 torn, slightly affecting text, lacking initial leaf (?blank), shaved with occasional loss to headlines, contemporary black morocco, gilt, worn, [M2560], 8vo, Printed for Humphrey Moseley, 1657.
⁂ Peter du Moulin (1601-84), an Anglican cleric, was born in Paris and studied at Sedan, Leiden and Cambridge. In 1660 he became chaplain to Charles II and Prebend of Canterbury.
