Aesop's Fables with his Life: in English, French & Latin, engraved frontispiece, additional engraved title dated 1665 and numerous engraved vignettes, all by Francis Barlow, 18th century gift inscription to front free endpaper, additional title with short tear and tape repair to upper-margin, some ink-smudges to letterpress title, F2 & Q1 (mis-signed R1) with short tear into text repaired without loss, R2 portion of loss to fore-margin, woodcut to 2H1 with some crude hand-colouring, few neatly repaired marginal tears, occasional light water- or other staining, some soiling and light browning, contemporary calf, rebacked, corners worn, little rubbed, endpapers renewed, [Wing A696], folio, William Godbid for Francis Barlow, 1666.
