Tobacco.- Everard (Giles) Panacea, or The Universal Medicine, Being a Discovery of the Wonderfull Vertues of Tobacco Taken in a Pipe, with its Operation and Use both in Physick and Chyrurgery, 2 parts in 1, first edition in English, engraved frontispiece, 8pp. publisher's advertisements at end, armorial bookplate with motto "Data Fata Sequutus", frontispiece slightly shaved at fore-edge, with few tiny worm holes and bookplate to verso, title lightly browned and with ownership name to head, some passage-marking in pencil, contemporary calf, spine foot repaired, housed in a cloth drop-back box, [Sabin 23216; Wing E3530], small 8vo, for Simon Miller, 1659.
