Horses.- Snape (Andrew) The Anatomy of an Horse, first edition, engraved portrait frontispiece and 49 plates, title with ownership name "Ogilvy" and neatly repaired tear to lower-margin, Q4 & 2G2 with tiny rust-hole, one or two minor marginal defects, some very light offsetting, some light water-staining to upper-margin, occasional light soiling elsewhere, overall a very good copy, contemporary calf, skillfully rebacked preserving original gilt backstrip in compartments with red morocco label (small portion of loss to foot), repair to foot of upper cover, corners bumped and rubbed and one repaired, [Wing S4382], folio, M. Flesher for the Authour [sic], 1683.
