Whitgifte (John) An answere to a certen Libel intituled, An admonition to the Parliament, first edition, title within typographical border, mostly black letter, title with short tear into border at inner-edge, some ink-stains to title and following f., H4 & I1 small defect to fore-margin, a few instances of ink underlining and a couple marginal annotations trimmed, small worming to lower-margin throughout but not affecting text, some light browning, later navy straight-grain morocco, covers with central blind-stamped arms of Mark Masterman Sykes, spine lettered in gilt, lower cover with small tear to leather of lower corner, some rubbing to joints and extremities, g.e., [STC 25427], small 4to, Henrie Bynneman, for Humfrey Toy, 1572.
