Surveying.- Rathborne (Aaron) The Surveyor in Foure bookes, first edition, fine engraved title by William Hole, 2 engraved portraits, woodcut diagrams, O3 cancel with "58 4/5" on fifth line to verso, lacking blank A1, few light ink smudges to title, second portrait with early ink inscription and small repair to upper-margin, A6v & M1v-M2 with marginal ink scribbles or inscriptions crossed through, early annotation to Sig. S, some very light water-staining to lower corner, mainly towards end, contemporary limp vellum, remains of ties, recased with some repairs to spine, ownership inscription to upper cover greatly faded, hole to lower cover repaired, little soiled, [STC 20748; Fussell I, pp.22-23], small folio, W. Stansby for W. Burre, 1616.
