Maritime.- Serres (Dominick and John Thomas) Liber Nauticus, 2 parts in 1, first edition, 2 letterpress titles (the first with correction overslip 'S' pasted on first line), 2 address leaves (the first engraved, the second letterpress with a border of engraved flags), list of plates leaf and 41 numbered plates, aquatints and etchings, no. 17 hand-colored, nos. 2, 3 and 16 printed in sepia, the rest in black, plates in first part by T. Swaine, Clark & Harraden and Swain & Harraden, second part by J. Clarke & J. Hamble, all after D. and J.T. Serres, captions to plates in second part in English and French, some plates in part 2 with lower margin trimmed down or supplied from a smaller copy, several repairs, often into plate, some foxing and soiling, later red half morocco over marbled boards, [Abbey, Life 345], folio, Edward Orme, 1805-06.
