Georgiae Augustae" to title verso, staining to fore-edge, generally light and marginal but heavier towards end, foxing and uniform browning, upper hinge cracked, contemporary sheep, small loss to spine foot, corners quite worn, upper joint cracked at foot, [Wing C5003], small 8vo, for Dan. Browne, 1696.
⁂ Scarce work which includes an astute observation on a vegetarian diet - "There is some reason to believe, That the People before the Flood did not eat Flesh, but liv'd altogether upon Vegetables, as Fruit, Herbs, and Roots; which I suppose, was one great reason of their Longevity. And it may be observed the in Herefordshire, and other Countries abounding with Fruit, the People are longer Liv'd than in those Countries that want them" (pp. 104-05).
