(blank except for signature), ink-stamp of Bradford City Libraries to pastedown, title very lightly soiled and with tiny puncture mark to fore-margin, title and few other ff. guarded, light damp-staining to inner-margin, modern morocco-backed cloth, spine and head of upper cover very slightly faded, [STC 14003], small 4to, [J. Wolfe], 1588.

⁂ A translation of part 1 of Hurault's 'Discours sur l'estat de la France'. A variant lacks "at London" in the imprint. Michel Hurault was a Calvinist, and friend of Henry IV, King of France.
