[Tomkis (Thomas)] Albumazar. A Comedy presented before the Kings Majesty at Cambridge. By the Gentlemen of Trinity Colledge, lacking initial blank and A2 (blank except for signature), title gutter reinforced to verso with one or two small marginal nicks or tears, light staining to first few ff., foxing and browning, outer blank corners slightly trimmed, modern straight-grain red half morocco, backstrip just starting to peel away at head, rubbing to extremities, [STC 24103], 8vo, Nicholas Okes, 1634 [but c.1640].
⁂ A comedy centred around the astrologer Albumazar, specially commissioned by Trinity College, Cambridge to entertain King James I during his 1615 visit to the University, and first published in the same year.
