Maritime.- Jenkins (James) The Naval Achievements of Great Britain, first edition, engraved title and 55 hand-coloured aquatint plates plus engraved double key-plate, lacking list of subscribers at end and the 2 portraits, occasional minor soiling but generally plates very clean and fresh, contemporary red half morocco, rebacked preserving original gilt spine, slightly rubbed, [Abbey, Life 337], 4to, 1817.
⁂ Abbey states that the uncoloured engraved title-vignette denotes an early issue - it was only hand-coloured in later issues.
