Asia.- Tavernier (Jean Baptiste) Collections of Travels through Turky into Persia, and the East-Indies..., 2 parts in 1 vol. only (of 2), first collected edition, 24 engraved plates on 20 leaves (4 printed on both sides), 4 folding (one torn and repaired, one with small portion lacking from outer margin), several engraved or woodcut illustrations in text, text lightly spotted and browned, A2 & 3 trimmed at lower margin not affecting text, contemporary sprinkled calf, red roan label, rubbed, split to upper joint, recased, new endpapers, [Blackmer 1632; Wing T251], folio, by Moses Pitt, 1684.
⁂ This volume contains the Persian travels in five books and the Indian travels in three books; the second volume containing the sections on the Grand Seraglio, Tonkin, and Japan is not present.
