Kelmscott Press.- Morris (William) The Earthly Paradise, 8 vol., [one of 225 copies on Apple paper], printed in red and black in Golden type, wood-engraved borders and initials mostly designed by William Morris, original limp vellum with silk ties, yapp edges, spines titled in gilt (smaller on vol.2-8 as issued), uncut, occasional very light spotting or soiling but still an excellent set, [Peterson A41], 4to, Kelmscott Press, 1896-97.


⁂ Including ten new borders specially designed for this work and the first use of the Apple paper. Morris died during the production and the remaining volumes were issued under Sydney Cockerell's supervision.
