Chaucer (Geoffrey) The Works, edited by Thomas Speght, largely printed in black letter, double column, engraved frontispiece, woodcut arms on d1, cancel slip pasted over final 7-line stanza on p.42, some foxing, short tear to X4 just into text block, small burn-hole to 4G2 slightly affecting text, later calf, gilt, rebacked, rubbed, g.e., [Wing C3736; Pforzheimer 179], folio, [Adam Islip], 1687.
