Annals of the English Stage from Thomas Betterton to Edmund Kean, 3 vol. extended to 6, extra-illustrated with over 300 engravings, portraits, architectural views and playbills, a few partially or fully hand-coloured, a few in sepia with stipple engraving, and 2 folding, full blue morocco, by L. Broca, spine in compartments, ornately tooled and lettered in gilt, covers tooled with gilt borders and panels, edges double ruled in gilt, gilt turn-ins tooled over red silk doublures, red silk endpapers, a couple torn, g.e., a couple of joints cracking, 8vo, 1879.
