The opera Agongo, written by Daniel Moynihan, was taken to the Edinburgh Festival in August 1994 with sets due to be designed by Damien Hirst. The present lot was one of two posters featuring images of the stage design and hung in the foyer of the theatre. It was signed by Damien Hirst, the writer Daniel Moynihan and the composers Sarah Sarhandi and Mark Springer . It was won in a charity raffle after the opera closed. This very scarce work is an early and important example of Hirst's collaboration with the contemporary arts at the beginning of his career.
