Woman printer.- Higford (William) The Institution of a Gentleman, first edition under this title, title within typographic border, B3 torn just touching one letter, lacking final blank, old sheep, rebacked, slightly bowed, [Wing H1946], small 8vo, Printed by A[lice] W[arren] for William Lee, 1660.
⁂ Issued in 1658 under the title Institutions or Advice to his Grandson. This edition has a new title and dedication leaf; this copy has both dedication leaves and the stub of what is presumably the original 1658 edition title-page, so a total of 14 preliminary pages (as in National Library of Australia copy), not 16 as called for by ESTC. Both editions are rare, with ESTC locating 7 copies of the first and 6 of this one.
