Shakespeare (William) Much adoe about Nothing [&] Loves Labour's Lost, from the Second Folio, pp.101-144, double column, woodcut head-pieces and decorative initials, occasional light foxing and staining, modern calf-backed marbled boards, folio, [Printed by Thomas Cotes], 1632.
⁂ A good and untrimmed copy of two of Shakespeare's great comedies together as they appeared consecutively in the Second Folio. The first, set in Messina, revolves around two romances which occur when a group of soldiers arrive in town; the second, written for a performance at the Inns of Court in front of Queen Elizabeth, concerns a king and three of his friends who promise to devote themselves to studying and not becoming involved with women.
