Bindings.- Book of Common Prayer (The), faint creasing to fore-edges of first and last few ff., cracked hinges, contemporary latticework silver binding with clasps, lacking hallmarks but tests as silver, central image showing baptism of Jesus to upper cover and the Ascension to the lower cover, Oxford, at the University Press, [late nineteenth century] § El Diamante de Cristano, half-title, plates, scattered spotting, silken endpapers, contemporary red velvet with silver filigree decoration, silver metal clasp engraved A. L., a little rubbed in places, Barcelona, 1851; and an eighteenth century German prayer book bound in contemporary calf with an elaborate silver metal clasp, 12mo (3)
