Conway) Sketches in the Pacific: the South Sea Islands, first edition, tinted lithograph title and 25 plates, lithographed dedication, lithographed sheet of facsimiles printed on both sides, title trimmed and inserted from another copy, bookplate, original cloth, lacking backstrip, disbound with boards detached, [Abbey, Travel 601; Ferguson 15656a; Hill 1564], folio, 1851.
⁂ A scarce work, complete and including a description of Pitcairn Island and its inhabitants, namely the mutineers from the Bounty and their descendants.
