Repertory of Arts and Manufactures (The)..., first series vol. 1-16 (a complete run) & second series vol. 1-19 only (of 46), 685 engraved plates only (of 686, first series vol. 13 lacking plate 12), some folding, bookplate of L.K. Elmhirst, first series vol. 5 with advertisement for 'New and Patent Inventions of Stratton and Crouder's Manufactory and Warehouse' bound in at end & vol. 6 with 'Butler's Patent Bedsteads' bound in at L1, some spotting or foxing, some light browning, offsetting, contemporary calf, morocco spine labels (a few numbering-pieces lacking), some small chipping to spine ends and wear to corners, rubbed in places, some joints cracked or starting, still overall an attractive set, 8vo, 1794-1811; sold as a periodical, not subject to return.

⁂ Responsible for disseminating news of useful inventions and technological advancements. In its various forms and series the periodical ran up to 1862, under its later title 'The Repertory of Patent Inventions'.
