⁂ Activities permitted, after the end of divine service, include "dauncing, either men or women, Archery for men, leaping, vaulting, or any such harmlesse Recreation...May-Games, Whitson Ales and Morris-dances, and the setting up of Maypoles" while still probibited are "Beare and Bullbaitings, and at all times in the meaner sort of people... Bowling." The work was burnt by the common hangman in 1641 by order of Parliament.
