Cattan (Christophe) The Geomancie...with the Wheele of Pythagoras, second edition, mostly black letter, woodcut device to title, woodcut initials, decorations, diagrams, illustrations and tables, folding table (laid down with small portion supplied by hand), title a little soiled, a few ff. closely trimmed at head, some creasing to and occasional loss of corners, C4 lower margin torn away, small burnhole Aa1, final f. a little frayed, occasional light staining or soiling, ink ownership inscription to endpaper, later speckled calf, rebacked, retaining original backstrip, [STC 4865], Printed by E.A[llde], for Edward White, 1608.

Provenance: Charles Strachey (ink inscription dated 1895).
