Dickens (Charles) The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit, first edition in book form, half-title, additional etched title and 39 plates by "Phiz", plates with foxing and browning to edges but text generally clean, bookplate, hinges reinforced, original ribbed blue cloth, expertly recased, light rubbing to extremities and very lightly marked but overall a lovely copy, [Smith I, 7; Eckel p.71], 8vo, Chapman and Hall, 1844.
⁂ Overall an excellent copy with the additional etched title reading "100£" on the signpost.
