Pugin (Augustus).- Dugdale (Sir William) The History of Imbanking and Draining of divers Fens and Marshes, second edition, 11 folding maps, occasional very faint spotting, later free endpapers, bookplates of Well and Pugin, contemporary calf, rebacked and recornered, a little rubbed, folio, by W. Bowyer and J. Nichols, 1772.
⁂ Provenance: Bookplate of Augustus de Pugin (1812-52), architect and pioneer of the Gothic Revival. Best known for designing the interior of the Palace of Westminster as well as the Elizabeth Tower which houses Big Ben.
