Shakespeare Head Press.- Spenser (Edmund) The Works..., 8 vol., one of 375 copies on hand-made paper, printed in red, blue and black, hand-coloured wood-engraved illustrations and decorations by Hilda Quick, lettering for titles, headings and initials designed by Joscelyne Gaskin and engraved by Quick, bound in black goatskin, upper covers with lattice ruled in blind and tooled in gilt with large floral device to centres and three smaller flower heads at four intersections with small gilt squares along lattice lines, spines titled in gilt with three flower heads to head & foot and black goatskin labels with author's name in large gilt letters as on titles, mustard silk doublures and flyleaves, turn-ins tooled in gilt, t.e.g., others uncut, spines a little faded, very slight rubbing to head of spines and some gilding, a handsome set, 4to, Oxford, Shakespeare Head Press, 1930-32.
