Engraving, 1564, a good impression on laid paper with watermark of a ladder within escutcheon [cf. Briquet 5928-5929, datable to circa 1540-1570], some signs of minor wear in the plate, trimmed within platemark to left and right edges, upper and lower edges with good margins, sheet 300 x 424 mm (11 3/4 x 16 3/4 in) (unframed)
