[Hoffmann (Ernst Theodor Amadeus)] Specimens of German Romance, 3 vol., first edition, 3 etched frontispieces by George Cruikshank, light browning to titles, some light marginal soiling, a very clean copy generally, original blue patterned cloth with papers labels to spines, light browning to spines, spine ends and corners bumped, a remarkably bright, fine copy, [Wolff 6476], 8vo, Geo. B. Whittaker, 1826.
⁂ Exceptionally rare in the original cloth in such superb condition, Wolff's copy was rebound.
