Ashendene Press.- Wisdom of Jesus the Son of Sirach (The) commonly called Ecclesiasticus, [one of 328 copies on paper], Subiaco type, printed in red and black with initials supplied by hand in blue or green by Graily Hewitt and assistants, with prospectus and order form loosely inserted, small stain to margin of first leaf of text, original orange-stained limp vellum with ties, [by Douglas Cockerell] at the W.H.Smith bindery, uncut, tiny scratch to spine but a fine copy without the customary fading, Cockerell marbled board slip-case, [Franklin p.242; Hornby XXXVIII], 4to, Ashendene Press, 1932.

*** Hornby thought this one of the most satisfactory of his books while Franklin notes, "Subiaco in the irregular verse lines, with drawn letters, red shoulder-notes and such a text cause this to be regarded often and justly as a favourite among all Ashendene books".
