A rare group of the artist’s first three booklets, 1970-71, comprising The Pencil on Paper Descriptive Works of Gilbert & George the sculptors, to be with art is all we ask; and A Day in the Life of Gilbert & George the sculptors, each with title-page, text, reproductions of photographs or drawings, with the artist’s red rubber stamped initials and numbered from editions of 500, 300, and 1000 respectively, published by the artist’s under their imprint ART FOR ALL, on wove paper, the full sheets staple bound as published, each volume 202 x 126mm., 8 x 5 in.
