Anthologia Graeca.- Florilegium Diversorum Epigrammatum in Septem Libros, edited by Franciscus Asulanus, collation: A-Z8 AA-MM8 NN10, Roman and primarily Greek types, title in Greek and Latin, woodcut printer's device to title and verso of final f., initial spaces with guide-letter, title a little soiled with a few ink inscriptions, very occasional light marking or staining to margins, the odd ink note to margin in Greek, bookplate of Lord Sandys to front pastedown, 18th century calf, gilt, spine gilt in compartments, joints a little rubbed with slight splitting to head, [Adams A1183; Ahmanson-Murphy 195; Renouard, Alde, 93:17; EDIT 16 CNCE 1973], 8vo, [Venice], [House of Aldus & Andrea Torresani], [January, 1521].

⁂ Second Aldine edition of the earliest known anthology in Greek. The work was originally compiled by Meleager of Gadara. Aldus used his own annotated copy of Janus Lascaris' 1494 editio princeps as an exemplar for his first edition of 1503.
