Middle East.- Narinsky (Shlomo) The Holy Land 1910-1921, letterpress title, 114 photogravures each c.135 x 85 mm or c.85 x 135 mm., each mounted on thin card and captioned by hand, tissue-guards, publishers blind-stamp to mounts and tissue-guards, ink-stamp reading 'Sheet-fed gravure 1921 Handlettered 1980' to verso of each mount, loose as issued, custom dropback box, buckle clasp, title in gilt to spine, slight bumping to corners, 4to, Jerusalem, Jamal Bros., 1921 & 1980.
⁂ Shlomo Narinsky (1885-1960) was an Israeli photographer who was born in the Russian Empire. He opened a photography studio in Jerusalem with Yaakov Hotimsky, called 'Photographic Unity.'
